Tourism in Plungė: Discover the Landscapes and Culture of Lithuania

The Plungė Tourism Information Center offers an opportunity to explore the tourism possibilities of the Plungė region in Lithuania. Located about 60 km from Klaipėda or Palanga, this region will impress visitors with the Duke Mykolas Oginskis estate ensemble and park. A must-see is the Cold War exhibition, which is the only one of its kind not only in Lithuania but also in Europe.

The pride of Žemaitija National Park is Lake Plateliai, the largest, deepest, and probably the most beautiful lake in the entire Samogitian region. Visitors can also view Lithuania’s first Mardi Gras mask exhibition, the energetic labyrinth park, and geometric formations. Active tourism enthusiasts can enjoy pedestrian and bicycle paths, as well as taste the culinary heritage of Samogitia and stay in rural tourism homesteads.

By visiting the stand, you can learn more about the Plungė region and the wonderful vacation possibilities in this charming corner of Lithuania, located near the Baltic Sea.
