Following the established tradition, Ķīpsala International Expo will host the leading Baltic travel industry trade fair Balttour in February, bringing you destinations near and far, and also some less known destinations, travel expert advice, insights into current trends and good deals from travel agencies, operators and cruise lines. When? On 7-9 February. Where? At the Ķīpsala International Expo Centre. Come and see yourself!

For three days Ķīpsala will become an epicentre of travel industry with travellers picking, planning and buying their journeys, while industry professionals engage in purposeful networking and explore new partnerships. Balttour 2025 brings together everyone who loves travelling and is looking beyond local tourist attractions to discover the enormous choices that the world has.

“Through changing global trends and local landscape Balttour has always remained a credible source of information for current and future travellers, offering a chance to buy trips and serving as a business platform for companies working in such segments as inbound and outbound tourism. There is no doubt, Balttour continues to set trends on our domestic travel market,” Ēriks Lingebērziņš, President of the Association of Latvian Travel Agents and Operators (ALTA), says.

Diverse destinations

With more than 300 exhibitors from at least 30 countries, including Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Turkey, Slovenia, Germany, Egypt, Kenya, India, Finland, Spain, Cyprus, and Czech Republic, Balttour will offer a great mix of travel options for everyone looking for exciting trips and unforgettable experiences.
Balttour will showcase also some more exotic destinations like Sierra Leone, Burundi, Kenya, Uganda and other African countries. For example, Kenya has thrilling safari trips, which are great if you want to see wild animals in their natural habitat. India’s representatives will introduce you to spectacular Indian temples and spiritual traditions right here at Ķīpsala. Representatives of these countries will try their best to convey the richness and uniqueness of their culture, heritage, main tourist attractions and breathtaking destinations to all visitors who just might be looking to go to one of these countries. Chinese travel operators will, for example, present the Great Wall of China and its tea ceremony rituals, whereas Slovakia might lure you in with top-class skiing experiences in Alps and hiking along the picturesque trails of Tatras.
