At Balttour 2025, Trakai Tourism Information Centre will present the latest tourist routes and the planned events, which anyone visiting Lithuania should attend!
As Lithuania was named one of the best destinations to visit in 2025 – Trakai is not wasting any time! The Tourism Information Centre’s goal is to introduce Trakai through gastronomic and nature experiences.
Today the culinary heritage of the Trakai Region population has become especially attractive. Ever since medieval times, Trakai has been a multicultural town – for example the Karaim cuisine, which has kept its traditions! One of the most famous dishes known is kybyn.
The new tourist routes include the rebuilt Varnikai Nature Trail, passing through Trakai Old Town, Užurtakis Manor with its park and many other breath-taking sights. The "Romantic Užutrakis" is the newest tourist route, introducing visitors to the park’s and the manor’s history through the sculptures’ stories.
Trakai is getting ready for major festivities in 2025, all of which we will be revealed and presented to guests of Balttour. If you are a sports enthusiast – Trakai will be the world’s rowing capital again in 2025, and will host the World Rowing u19 Championships August 6–10.
