Hungary on „Balttour 2023”
Hungary’s participation on Balttour 2023 within a common stand of the Visegrad 4 countries will focus first of all on sustainability and social responsibility in tourism – as the current situation has made sustainable operation a priority, which also means reducing the ecological footprint. Here we present our special theme: BalatonBike365 – Bike all year, 365 days round around Lake Balaton!
As part of our cultural tourism projects we would like to present the Liget Budapest Project which is the largest urban development project with cultural content in Europe, recognized by prestigious international awards, thanks to which the City Park will be a more livable park by 2023, much greener and even more modern than at present, richer with attractive institutions.
Nevertheless, relax and wellness tourisms still remain in focus: here the main goal is to provide a comprehensive information on locations in health & spa tourism centres and attract our guests to enjoy the upmost comfort of our unique natural thermal lake Héviz and other spa resourts the whole year around.
Festival and prestigious event tourism is still among those popular segments which attracts tens if not hundreds of thousands of foreigners to Hungary, among these we shall provide information on the famous SZIGET Festival, Balaton Sound, Children’s Island, Gourmet Festival.
Last but not least with special tribute to the famous Hungarian cuisine and wines, we shall encourage our guests by providing detailed information to come to Hungary and test our gastronomic delights and wines. These programs are often encoupled by combined programs to visit our castles and palaces (with patina hotels furnished with period furniture) where various cultural events (classical music concerts, art exhibitions etc.) often make your stay in Hungary memorable, so, we might give hints to our guests visiting our stand where to go and what to see while you are in Hungary.
